The Lord will rescue his servants; no one who takes refuge in him will be condemned.The Lord redeems the lives of those who serve him; no one will be condemned who takes refuge in him.
Blessed are those who keep his statutes and seek him with all their heart.Blessed are those who observe his statutes and seek him with their whole heart.
Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.
A gift opens the way and ushers the giver into the presence of the great.A gift opens doors for the giver and wins him access to the powerful.
Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. All who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure.Beloved, we are God’s children now. What we shall be has not yet been revealed. However, we do know that when he appears we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he really is. Everyone who has this hope in him keeps himself pure, just as he is pure.
Every word of God is flawless; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him.Every word of God has proved to be true; he is a shield to those who trust in him.
What is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them?What is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him?
So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him.While Peter was thus imprisoned, the Church prayed fervently to God for him.
And, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him.And when he had been made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him.
Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.However, to those who did accept him and who believed in his name he granted the power to become children of God.
This is how we know that we live in him and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit.This is how we can be certain that we abide in him and that he abides in us: he has given us a share in his Spirit.
For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe in him, but also to suffer for him.For it has been granted you not only to believe in Christ but also to suffer for him.
The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him.The Lord is good, an unfailing refuge in a time of distress. He takes care of those who place their trust in him.
But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love.But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him, on those who trust in his kindness.
As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him.As a father has compassion for his children, so the Lord has compassion for those who fear him.
Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God and receive from him anything we ask, because we keep his commands and do what pleases him.Beloved, if our hearts do not condemn us, we can approach God with confidence and receive from him whatever we ask, because we obey his commandments and do whatever is pleasing to him.
The one who eats everything must not treat with contempt the one who does not, and the one who does not eat everything must not judge the one who does, for God has accepted them.The one who eats everything must not look contemptuously on the one who does not, and the one who abstains must not pass judgment on the one who eats, for God has welcomed both.
God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.God is Spirit, and those who worship him must worship in Spirit and truth.
Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth.Because of this, God greatly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above all other names, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bend of those in heaven and on earth and under the earth.
While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. But immediately he spoke to them, saying, “Have courage! It is I! Do not be afraid!”
I can do all this through him who gives me strength.I can do all things in him who strengthens me.
After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight.After he said this, he was lifted up as they looked on, and a cloud took him from their sight.
We are witnesses of these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.And we are witnesses to these things, as is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey him.
Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted.Although it was our afflictions that he bore, our sufferings that he endured, we thought of him as stricken, as struck down by God and afflicted.

The one who keeps God’s commands lives in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us.All those who keep his commandments abide in him, and he abides in them. And the proof that he abides in us is the Spirit that he has given us.
