| But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love. | Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him, On those who wait for His faithfulness. |

| The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. | No one should seek their own good, but the good of others. | No one is to seek his own advantage, but rather that of his neighbor. |
| Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? | Or do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus have been baptized into His death? |
| Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. | Greater love has no one than this, that a person will lay down his life for his friends. |
| Good and upright is the Lord; therefore he instructs sinners in his ways. He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way. | The Lord is good and upright; Therefore He instructs sinners in the way. He leads the humble in justice, And He teaches the humble His way. |
