Husband and wife (4/4)

May mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you.May God give you more and more mercy, peace, and love.
See, we are going up to Jerusalem. And the Son of Man will be delivered over to the chief priests and scribes, and they will condemn him to death and deliver him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and flogged and crucified, and he will be raised on the third day.“Listen,” he said, “we’re going up to Jerusalem, where the Son of Man will be betrayed to the leading priests and the teachers of religious law. They will sentence him to die. Then they will hand him over to the Romans to be mocked, flogged with a whip, and crucified. But on the third day he will be raised from the dead.”
And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.
The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.The Lord is compassionate and merciful, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love.
The fear of the Lord is hatred of evil. Pride and arrogance and the way of evil and perverted speech I hate.All who fear the Lord will hate evil. Therefore, I hate pride and arrogance, corruption and perverse speech.
For the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true.For this light within you produces only what is good and right and true.

They all ate as much as they wanted, and afterward, the disciples picked up twelve baskets of leftovers!
And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love for one another and for all, as we do for you.And may the Lord make your love for one another and for all people grow and overflow, just as our love for you overflows.
Then you will understand righteousness and justice and equity, every good path.Then you will understand what is right, just, and fair, and you will find the right way to go.
Give justice to the weak and the fatherless; maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute.Give justice to the poor and the orphan; uphold the rights of the oppressed and the destitute.
You shall serve the Lord your God, and he will bless your bread and your water, and I will take sickness away from among you.You must serve only the Lord your God. If you do, I will bless you with food and water, and I will protect you from illness.
Everyone also to whom God has given wealth and possessions and power to enjoy them, and to accept his lot and rejoice in his toil—this is the gift of God.And it is a good thing to receive wealth from God and the good health to enjoy it. To enjoy your work and accept your lot in life—this is indeed a gift from God.
Now as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and after blessing it broke it and gave it to the disciples, and said, “Take, eat; this is my body.”As they were eating, Jesus took some bread and blessed it. Then he broke it in pieces and gave it to the disciples, saying, “Take this and eat it, for this is my body.”
The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof, the world and those who dwell therein.The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it. The world and all its people belong to him.

And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God.
You desire and do not have, so you murder. You covet and cannot obtain, so you fight and quarrel. You do not have, because you do not ask.You want what you don’t have, so you scheme and kill to get it. You are jealous of what others have, but you can’t get it, so you fight and wage war to take it away from them. Yet you don’t have what you want because you don’t ask God for it.
For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen.For everything comes from him and exists by his power and is intended for his glory. All glory to him forever! Amen.
So the church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria had peace and was being built up. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it multiplied.The church then had peace throughout Judea, Galilee, and Samaria, and it became stronger as the believers lived in the fear of the Lord. And with the encouragement of the Holy Spirit, it also grew in numbers.
He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief; and as one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not.He was despised and rejected— a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief. We turned our backs on him and looked the other way. He was despised, and we did not care.
The prudent sees danger and hides himself, but the simple go on and suffer for it.A prudent person foresees danger and takes precautions. The simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences.
Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and you are exalted as head above all.Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty. Everything in the heavens and on earth is yours, O Lord, and this is your kingdom. We adore you as the one who is over all things.
