Love doesn’t brag, is not proud, doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil. | Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil. |
Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil. Cling to that which is good. | Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. |
This commandment we have from him, that he who loves God should also love his brother. | And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also. |
Those who love your law have great peace. Nothing causes them to stumble. | Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them. |
