| And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good? | Now who will harm you if you are eager to do what is good? |
| Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. | Blessed is anyone who endures temptation. Such a one has stood the test and will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him. |
| And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. | And whoever does not take up the cross and follow me is not worthy of me. |
