| And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. | But “he who glories, let him glory in the Lord.” For not he who commends himself is approved, but whom the Lord commends. | But he that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord. For not he that commendeth himself is approved, but whom the Lord commendeth. |
| Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law. | Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. |

| If your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. | To him who is afflicted, kindness should be shown by his friend, Even though he forsakes the fear of the Almighty. | To him that is afflicted pity should be shewed from his friend; but he forsaketh the fear of the Almighty. |
| He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him. | He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him. |
| Whoever hides hatred has lying lips, And whoever spreads slander is a fool. | He that hideth hatred with lying lips, and he that uttereth a slander, is a fool. |
| Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. | Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. |
| And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. | And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. |
| Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity. | Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. |

| You shall not hate your brother in your heart. You shall surely rebuke your neighbor, and not bear sin because of him.
