And who is he who will harm you if you become followers of what is good? | And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good? |
Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. What then if you should see the Son of Man ascend where He was before? | What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before? |
And if he refuses to hear them, tell it to the church. But if he refuses even to hear the church, let him be to you like a heathen and a tax collector. | And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican. |
Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there. | Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. |
But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance. | But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it. |
If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. | If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. |
Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. | Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. |
Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, When it is in the power of your hand to do so. | Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it. |
And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also. | And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also. |
And said to them, “Whoever receives this little child in My name receives Me; and whoever receives Me receives Him who sent Me. This is a faithful saying: For if we died with Him, We shall also live with Him. | It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him. |
What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? | What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? |
He who keeps instruction is in the way of life, But he who refuses correction goes astray. | He is in the way of life that keepeth instruction: but he that refuseth reproof erreth. |
For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. | For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. |
He who walks with integrity walks securely, But he who perverts his ways will become known. | He that walketh uprightly walketh surely: but he that perverteth his ways shall be known. |
Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. | Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. |
Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock. | Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock. |
Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?” | Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God? |
