| And it is impossible to please God without faith. But God proves his love for us in that while we still were sinners Christ died for us. |

| “What do you mean, ‘If I can’?” Jesus asked. “Anything is possible if a person believes.” | Jesus said to him, “If you are able!—All things can be done for the one who believes.” |
| And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? Is anything worth more than your soul? | For what will it profit them if they gain the whole world but forfeit their life? Or what will they give in return for their life? |
