Bible Verses about 'Increase'

He must become greater and greater, and I must become less and less.He must become greater; I must become less.
The greater my wisdom, the greater my grief. To increase knowledge only increases sorrow. For with much wisdom comes much sorrow; the more knowledge, the more grief.
The more you have, the more people come to help you spend it. So what good is wealth—except perhaps to watch it slip through your fingers! As goods increase, so do those who consume them. And what benefit are they to the owners except to feast their eyes on them?
For God is the one who provides seed for the farmer and then bread to eat. In the same way, he will provide and increase your resources and then produce a great harvest of generosity in you.Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness.
And may the Lord make your love for one another and for all people grow and overflow, just as our love for you overflows.May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else, just as ours does for you.
Wealth from get-rich-quick schemes quickly disappears; wealth from hard work grows over time.Dishonest money dwindles away, but whoever gathers money little by little makes it grow.
Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce.Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops.
Those who love money will never have enough. How meaningless to think that wealth brings true happiness!Whoever loves money never has enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with their income. This too is meaningless.
If you follow my decrees and are careful to obey my commands, I will send you the seasonal rains. The land will then yield its crops, and the trees of the field will produce their fruit. If you follow my decrees and are careful to obey my commands, I will send you rain in its season, and the ground will yield its crops and the trees their fruit.
He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.
Well then, should we keep on sinning so that God can show us more and more of his wonderful grace? Of course not! Since we have died to sin, how can we continue to live in it?What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?
Dear brothers and sisters, we can’t help but thank God for you, because your faith is flourishing and your love for one another is growing. We ought always to thank God for you, brothers and sisters, and rightly so, because your faith is growing more and more, and the love all of you have for one another is increasing.
Then God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and govern it. Reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the animals that scurry along the ground.”God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”
For I command you this day to love the Lord your God and to keep his commands, decrees, and regulations by walking in his ways. If you do this, you will live and multiply, and the Lord your God will bless you and the land you are about to enter and occupy. For I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, and to keep his commands, decrees and laws; then you will live and increase, and the Lord your God will bless you in the land you are entering to possess.
The church then had peace throughout Judea, Galilee, and Samaria, and it became stronger as the believers lived in the fear of the Lord. And with the encouragement of the Holy Spirit, it also grew in numbers. Then the church throughout Judea, Galilee and Samaria enjoyed a time of peace and was strengthened.
