Bible Verses about 'Increase'

He must become greater and greater, and I must become less and less.He must increase, but I must decrease.
The greater my wisdom, the greater my grief. To increase knowledge only increases sorrow. For in much wisdom is much grief, And he who increases knowledge increases sorrow.
The more you have, the more people come to help you spend it. So what good is wealth—except perhaps to watch it slip through your fingers! When goods increase, They increase who eat them; So what profit have the owners Except to see them with their eyes?
For God is the one who provides seed for the farmer and then bread to eat. In the same way, he will provide and increase your resources and then produce a great harvest of generosity in you.Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness.
And may the Lord make your love for one another and for all people grow and overflow, just as our love for you overflows. And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love to one another and to all, just as we do to you.
Wealth from get-rich-quick schemes quickly disappears; wealth from hard work grows over time.Wealth gained by dishonesty will be diminished, But he who gathers by labor will increase.
Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce.Honor the Lord with your possessions, And with the firstfruits of all your increase.
Those who love money will never have enough. How meaningless to think that wealth brings true happiness! He who loves silver will not be satisfied with silver; Nor he who loves abundance, with increase. This also is vanity.
If you follow my decrees and are careful to obey my commands, I will send you the seasonal rains. The land will then yield its crops, and the trees of the field will produce their fruit. If you walk in My statutes and keep My commandments, and perform them, then I will give you rain in its season, the land shall yield its produce, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.
He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength.
Well then, should we keep on sinning so that God can show us more and more of his wonderful grace? Of course not! Since we have died to sin, how can we continue to live in it?What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?
Dear brothers and sisters, we can’t help but thank God for you, because your faith is flourishing and your love for one another is growing. We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all abounds toward each other.
Then God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and govern it. Reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the animals that scurry along the ground.”Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
For I command you this day to love the Lord your God and to keep his commands, decrees, and regulations by walking in his ways. If you do this, you will live and multiply, and the Lord your God will bless you and the land you are about to enter and occupy. In that I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments, that you may live and multiply; and the Lord your God will bless you in the land which you go to possess.
The church then had peace throughout Judea, Galilee, and Samaria, and it became stronger as the believers lived in the fear of the Lord. And with the encouragement of the Holy Spirit, it also grew in numbers. Then the churches throughout all Judea, Galilee, and Samaria had peace and were edified. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, they were multiplied.
