- He must increase, but I must decrease.
- When goods increase, they are increased that eat them: and what good is there to the owners thereof, saving the beholding of them with their eyes?
- For in much wisdom is much grief:
and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow. - And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you.
- Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished:
but he that gathereth by labour shall increase. - Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness.
- Honour the Lord with thy substance,
and with the firstfruits of all thine increase. - He that loveth silver shall not be satisfied with silver; nor he that loveth abundance with increase: this is also vanity.
- If ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them; Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.
- He giveth power to the faint;
and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. - What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
- We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth.
- And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
- In that I command thee this day to love the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the Lord thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.
- Then had the churches rest throughout all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria, and were edified; and walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Ghost, were multiplied.
Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts,
