| Then said Jesus unto them, Yet a little while am I with you, and then I go unto him that sent me. | Jesus then said, “I will remain with you only for a short time longer, and then I shall return to him who sent me.” |
| From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. | From that day forward Jesus began to proclaim the message: “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is close at hand.” |

| And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. | And every tongue should proclaim to the glory of God the Father: Jesus Christ is Lord. |
| And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. | And eternal life is this: to know you, the only true God, and the one you have sent, Jesus Christ. |

| And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible. | Jesus looked at them and said, “For men it is impossible, but not for God. For God all things are possible.” |
| Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. | Jesus answered, “If it is possible! All things are possible for one who has faith.” |
| And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen. | Then the God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. |
| The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen. | The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. |
| In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. | On the last and greatest day of the feast, Jesus stood up and cried out, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink.” |
| And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. | While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and after he had pronounced the blessing, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take this and eat; this is my body.” |
| Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. | Jesus replied, “Amen, amen, I say to you, everyone who sins is a slave of sin.” |
| Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. | Jesus said, “Amen, amen, I say to you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit.” |
| Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus. | May the God of perseverance and encouragement grant that you may live in harmony with one another, following in the example of Jesus Christ. |
| But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven. | But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them. For it is to such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs.” |

| For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ. | For I know that through your prayers and with the help of the Spirit of Jesus Christ this will result in deliverance for me. |
