| Jesus told them, “This is the only work God wants from you: Believe in the one he has sent.” | Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. |

| Jesus replied, “All who love me will do what I say. My Father will love them, and we will come and make our home with each of them.” | Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. |
| And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father. | And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. |
| Then Jesus shouted, “Father, I entrust my spirit into your hands!” And with those words he breathed his last. | And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost. |
| All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by his great mercy that we have been born again, because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Now we live with great expectation. | Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. |
| Jesus responded, “Didn’t I tell you that you would see God’s glory if you believe?” | Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God? |
| May God, who gives this patience and encouragement, help you live in complete harmony with each other, as is fitting for followers of Christ Jesus. | Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus. |

| For I decided that while I was with you I would forget everything except Jesus Christ, the one who was crucified. | For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. |
| Then Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan River. He was led by the Spirit in the wilderness, where he was tempted by the devil for forty days. | And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns. | Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. |

| Asking God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give you spiritual wisdom and insight so that you might grow in your knowledge of God. | That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him. |
| “Don’t be afraid, Mary,” the angel told her, “for you have found favor with God! And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Jesus. |
| Or have you forgotten that when we were joined with Christ Jesus in baptism, we joined him in his death? | Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? |
| The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. May the grace of our Lord Jesus be with you. | And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen. |
| But if we are living in the light, as God is in the light, then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from all sin. | But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. |
| Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. | Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. |
| “Don’t cling to me,” Jesus said, “for I haven’t yet ascended to the Father. But go find my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’” | Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God. |
