| Jesus replied, “Did I not tell you that if you have faith you will see the glory of God?” | Jesus responded, “Didn’t I tell you that you would see God’s glory if you believe?” |
| Therefore, do not allow anyone to pass judgment on you in regard to what you eat or drink, or about the observance of Festivals, New Moons, or Sabbaths. These are only a shadow of what is to come. The reality is Christ. | So don’t let anyone condemn you for what you eat or drink, or for not celebrating certain holy days or new moon ceremonies or Sabbaths. For these rules are only shadows of the reality yet to come. And Christ himself is that reality. |
| They answered, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, and so too will your household.” | They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, along with everyone in your household.” |
| Behold, I am standing at the door, knocking. If one of you hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and dine with that person and that person with me. | Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends. |

| Since in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor lack of circumcision is worth anything. | For all have sinned and thereby are deprived of the glory of God, and all are justified by the gift of his grace that is given freely through the redemption in Christ Jesus. | For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. Yet God, in his grace, freely makes us right in his sight. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins. |
