John 14 (3/4)

For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Indeed, God did not send the Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
Those who believe in him are not condemned; but those who do not believe are condemned already, because they have not believed in the name of the only Son of God.Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.
But those who do what is true come to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that their deeds have been done in God.But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.
He must increase, but I must decrease. He must become greater; I must become less.
Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever disobeys the Son will not see life, but must endure God's wrath.Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them.
But those who drink of the water that I will give them will never be thirsty. The water that I will give will become in them a spring of water gushing up to eternal life. But whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.
God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.
Do not work for the food that perishes, but for the food that endures for eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For it is on him that God the Father has set his seal.Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on him God the Father has placed his seal of approval.
Jesus answered them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.”Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.”
Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”
I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats of this bread will live forever; and the bread that I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats this bread will live forever. This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
Those who eat my flesh and drink my blood abide in me, and I in them.Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in them.
Just as the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so whoever eats me will live because of me.Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on me will live because of me.
Then what if you were to see the Son of Man ascending to where he was before? Then what if you see the Son of Man ascend to where he was before!
Then Jesus answered them, “My teaching is not mine but his who sent me.”Jesus answered, “My teaching is not my own. It comes from the one who sent me.”
Jesus then said, “I will be with you a little while longer, and then I am going to him who sent me.”Jesus said, “I am with you for only a short time, and then I am going to the one who sent me.”
On the last day of the festival, the great day, while Jesus was standing there, he cried out, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me.”On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink.”
And let the one who believes in me drink. As the scripture has said, ‘Out of the believer's heart shall flow rivers of living water.’Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.
Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life.”When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
Then Jesus said to the Jews who had believed in him, “If you continue in my word, you are truly my disciples; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
Jesus answered them, “Very truly, I tell you, everyone who commits sin is a slave to sin.”Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin.”
So if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.
You are from your father the devil, and you choose to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks according to his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies. You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.
I am the gate. Whoever enters by me will be saved, and will come in and go out and find pasture.I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture.

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
