Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am. | You call Me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord’; and you are correct, for so I am. |
If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet. | So if I, the Lord and the Teacher, washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet. |

Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him. | Truly, truly I say to you, a slave is not greater than his master, nor is one who is sent greater than the one who sent him. |
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me. | Truly, truly I say to you, the one who receives anyone I send, receives Me; and the one who receives Me receives Him who sent Me. |
A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. | I am giving you a new commandment, that you love one another; just as I have loved you, that you also love one another. |
By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. | By this all people will know that you are My disciples: if you have love for one another. |

In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. | In My Father’s house are many rooms; if that were not so, I would have told you, because I am going there to prepare a place for you. |

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. | Truly, truly I say to you, the one who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I am going to the Father. |
And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. | And whatever you ask in My name, this I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. |
If ye love me, keep my commandments. | If you love Me, you will keep My commandments. |
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever. | I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, so that He may be with you forever. |
I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. | I will not leave you as orphans; I am coming to you. |
He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. | The one who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and the one who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will reveal Myself to him. |
Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. | Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will follow My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our dwelling with him.” |
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. | But the Helper, the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and remind you of all that I said to you. |
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. | Peace I leave you, My peace I give you; not as the world gives, do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, nor fearful. |
I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. | I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it so that it may bear more fruit. |
Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. | You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. |

If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. | If you remain in Me, and My words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. |
