John 7:38 (3/4)

I came from the Father and have come into the world, and now I am leaving the world and going to the Father.I came from the Father and entered the world; now I am leaving the world and going back to the Father.
I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.
And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent. Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.
I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one.My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one.
Father, I desire that they also, whom you have given me, may be with me where I am, to see my glory that you have given me because you loved me before the foundation of the world.Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.
I made known to them your name, and I will continue to make it known, that the love with which you have loved me may be in them, and I in them.I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.
When Jesus had received the sour wine, he said, “It is finished,” and he bowed his head and gave up his spirit. When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
Then the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, also went in, and he saw and believed; for as yet they did not understand the Scripture, that he must rise from the dead. Finally the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, also went inside. He saw and believed. (They still did not understand from Scripture that Jesus had to rise from the dead.)
Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to my brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”
Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.”Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.”
Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made.Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.
The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
No one has ever seen God; the only God, who is at the Father's side, he has made him known. No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known.
I myself did not know him, but he who sent me to baptize with water said to me, ‘He on whom you see the Spirit descend and remain, this is he who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.’And I myself did not know him, but the one who sent me to baptize with water told me, ‘The man on whom you see the Spirit come down and remain is the one who will baptize with the Holy Spirit.’
Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.”
Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.”Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit.”
That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.
But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God.But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.

He must increase, but I must decrease. He must become greater; I must become less.
