He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.
Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.Jesus answered, “My teaching is not my own. It comes from the one who sent me.”
Then said Jesus unto them, Yet a little while am I with you, and then I go unto him that sent me.Jesus said, “I am with you for only a short time, and then I am going to the one who sent me.”
In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink.”
Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin.”
If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.
Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.
I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture.
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and my Father are one.I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.
Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”
Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”
If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me.
Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am.You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for that is what I am.
If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet.Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him.Very truly I tell you, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.Very truly I tell you, whoever accepts anyone I send accepts me; and whoever accepts me accepts the one who sent me.
A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.
By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me.
In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.

Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us.Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.”
