Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us.” | Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us. |
Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. | Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. |
|
And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. | And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. |
If you love Me, keep My commandments. | If ye love me, keep my commandments. |
And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever. | And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever. |
I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you. | I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. |
He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him. | He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. |
Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.” | Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. |
But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. | But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. |
Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. | Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. |
I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. | I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. |
You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. | Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. |
I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. | I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. |
If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. | If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. |
By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples. | Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. |
If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. | If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. |
These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full. | These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. |
This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. | This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. |
Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends. | Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. |
You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you. | Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. |
If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. | If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. |
But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me. | But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me. |
Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. | Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. |
And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment. | And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment. |
Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full. | Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full. |
