John 7:38 (2/4)

Philip said to him, “Lord, show us the Father, and we will be satisfied.”Philip said to him, “Lord, show us the Father, and that will be enough for us.”
Very truly, I tell you, the one who believes in me will also do the works that I do and, in fact, will do greater works than these, because I am going to the Father. Most certainly I tell you, he who believes in me, the works that I do, he will do also; and he will do greater works than these, because I am going to my Father.
I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.Whatever you will ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
If you love me, you will keep my commandments. If you love me, keep my commandments.
And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, to be with you forever.I will pray to the Father, and he will give you another Counselor, that he may be with you forever.
I will not leave you orphaned; I am coming to you.I will not leave you orphans. I will come to you.
They who have my commandments and keep them are those who love me; and those who love me will be loved by my Father, and I will love them and reveal myself to them. One who has my commandments and keeps them, that person is one who loves me. One who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him, and will reveal myself to him.
Jesus answered him, “Those who love me will keep my word, and my Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.”Jesus answered him, “If a man loves me, he will keep my word. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.”
But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything, and remind you of all that I have said to you.But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things, and will remind you of all that I said to you.
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not let them be afraid.Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, I give to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful.
I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinegrower. He removes every branch in me that bears no fruit. Every branch that bears fruit he prunes to make it bear more fruit.I am the true vine, and my Father is the farmer. Every branch in me that doesn’t bear fruit, he takes away. Every branch that bears fruit, he prunes, that it may bear more fruit.
You have already been cleansed by the word that I have spoken to you.You are already pruned clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.
I am the vine, you are the branches. Those who abide in me and I in them bear much fruit, because apart from me you can do nothing.I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me and I in him bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.
If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask for whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you.
My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit and become my disciples. In this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; and so you will be my disciples.
If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love.If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love, even as I have kept my Father’s commandments and remain in his love.
I have said these things to you so that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be complete.I have spoken these things to you, that my joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be made full.
This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. This is my commandment, that you love one another, even as I have loved you.
No one has greater love than this, to lay down one's life for one's friends.Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.
You did not choose me but I chose you. And I appointed you to go and bear fruit, fruit that will last, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask him in my name. You didn’t choose me, but I chose you and appointed you, that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain; that whatever you will ask of the Father in my name, he may give it to you.
If the world hates you, be aware that it hated me before it hated you.If the world hates you, you know that it has hated me before it hated you.
When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who comes from the Father, he will testify on my behalf. When the Counselor has come, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will testify about me.
Nevertheless I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you.Nevertheless I tell you the truth: It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I don’t go away, the Counselor won’t come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you.
And when he comes, he will prove the world wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment. When he has come, he will convict the world about sin, about righteousness, and about judgment.
Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be complete.Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full.

I came from the Father and have come into the world; again, I am leaving the world and am going to the Father.I came from the Father and have come into the world. Again, I leave the world and go to the Father.
