| Jesus answered them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who practices sin is a slave to sin.” | Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. |
| By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another. | By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. |

| Jesus answered them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.” | Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. |

| By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples. | Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. |
| And this is the testimony, that God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. | And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. |
| Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. | He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. |
| Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.” | Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. |
| Jesus said to her, “Did I not tell you that if you believed you would see the glory of God?” | Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God? |
| And this commandment we have from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother. | And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also. |
| By this we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit. | Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit. |
| Who is it that overcomes the world except the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? | Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? |
| Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. | And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. |
| For this is the message that you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. | For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. |
| And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever. | And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever. |
| And when he comes, he will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment. | And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment. |
| These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full. | These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. |
| Jesus then said, “I will be with you a little longer, and then I am going to him who sent me.” | Then said Jesus unto them, Yet a little while am I with you, and then I go unto him that sent me. |
| If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet. | If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet. |
| No one who denies the Son has the Father. Whoever confesses the Son has the Father also. | Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also. |
| I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one. | I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. |
| I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture. | I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. |
| And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever. | And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. |
| If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on you do know him and have seen him. | If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. |
