I have spoken these things to you, that my joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be made full. | I have told you these things so that my joy may be in you and your joy may be complete. |
The world is passing away with its lusts, but he who does God’s will remains forever. | And the world with all its enticements is passing away, but whoever does the will of God abides forever. |

Whoever denies the Son doesn’t have the Father. He who confesses the Son has the Father also. | Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father, but whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also. |
I pray not that you would take them from the world, but that you would keep them from the evil one. | I am not asking you to take them out of the world, but I do ask you to protect them from the evil one. |
If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on, you know him and have seen him. | If you know me, then you will know my Father also. From now on you do know him. You have seen him. |
