- For the Scriptures say,
“‘As surely as I live,’ says the Lord,
‘every knee will bend to me,
and every tongue will declare allegiance to God.’” - Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor
and gave him the name above all other names,
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth. - Come, let us worship and bow down.
Let us kneel before the Lord our maker. - They stripped him and put a scarlet robe on him. They wove thorn branches into a crown and put it on his head, and they placed a reed stick in his right hand as a scepter. Then they knelt before him in mockery and taunted, “Hail! King of the Jews!”
We can make our plans,
but the Lord determines our steps. Arise, Jerusalem! Let your light shine for all to see.
For the glory of the Lord rises to shine on you.Next verse! With image
