Bible Verses about 'Learn'

  • I will give thanks to You with uprightness of heart,
    When I learn Your righteous judgments.
  • Learn to do good;
    Seek justice,
    Rebuke the oppressor,
    Obtain justice for the orphan,
    Plead for the widow’s case.
  • Now go and learn what this means: ‘I desire compassion, rather than sacrifice,’ for I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners.
  • At night my soul longs for You,
    Indeed, my spirit within me seeks You diligently;
    For when the earth experiences Your judgments,
    The inhabitants of the world learn righteousness.
  • Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is comfortable, and My burden is light.
  • Not that I speak from need, for I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am.
  • As for the things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.
  • Now I urge you, brothers and sisters, keep your eye on those who cause dissensions and hindrances contrary to the teaching which you learned, and turn away from them.
  • I know how to get along with little, and I also know how to live in prosperity; in any and every circumstance I have learned the secret of being filled and going hungry, both of having abundance and suffering need.
  • One who loves discipline loves knowledge,
    But one who hates rebuke is stupid.
  • For this is the will of God, your sanctification; that is, that you abstain from sexual immorality; that each of you know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not in lustful passion, like the Gentiles who do not know God.
  • For whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction, so that through perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.
  • Do not lie to one another, since you stripped off the old self with its evil practices, and have put on the new self, which is being renewed to a true knowledge according to the image of the One who created it.
  • And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.
  • A fool rejects his father’s discipline,
    But he who complies with rebuke is sensible.

Yet those who wait for the Lord
Will gain new strength;
They will mount up with wings like eagles,
They will run and not get tired,
They will walk and not become weary.
