The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.
Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.”And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.”
I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life.These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.
And he said to them, “Take care, and be on your guard against all covetousness, for one's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.”And He said to them, “Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses.”
So that, as sin reigned in death, grace also might reign through righteousness leading to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.So that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the fruit you get leads to sanctification and its end, eternal life.But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life.
Because your steadfast love is better than life, my lips will praise you. So I will bless you as long as I live; in your name I will lift up my hands.Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise You. Thus I will bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name.
Whoever guards his mouth preserves his life; he who opens wide his lips comes to ruin.He who guards his mouth preserves his life, But he who opens wide his lips shall have destruction.
Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”
Because you are precious in my eyes, and honored, and I love you, I give men in return for you, peoples in exchange for your life.Since you were precious in My sight, You have been honored, And I have loved you; Therefore I will give men for you, And people for your life.
My son, do not forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments, for length of days and years of life and peace they will add to you.My son, do not forget my law, But let your heart keep my commands; For length of days and long life And peace they will add to you.
For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.
For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life.For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.
His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence.As His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue.

Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.
