The good person out of the good treasure of his heart produces good, and the evil person out of his evil treasure produces evil, for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.

Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger. So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath.
When words are many, transgression is not lacking, but whoever restrains his lips is prudent. In the multitude of words sin is not lacking, But he who restrains his lips is wise.
Open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all who are destitute.Open your mouth for the speechless, In the cause of all who are appointed to die.
To make an apt answer is a joy to a man, and a word in season, how good it is!A man has joy by the answer of his mouth, And a word spoken in due season, how good it is!

Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth. My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.
For we all stumble in many ways. And if anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle his whole body. For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body.
