Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.
A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.

Even a fool, when he holdeth his peace, is counted wise: and he that shutteth his lips is esteemed a man of understanding.Even a fool is counted wise when he holds his peace; When he shuts his lips, he is considered perceptive.
But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment.

If he hears you, you have gained your brother.
Let my mouth be filled with thy praise and with thy honour all the day.Let my mouth be filled with Your praise And with Your glory all the day.
Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.Therefore whatever you have spoken in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have spoken in the ear in inner rooms will be proclaimed on the housetops.

But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words.

O give thanks unto the Lord; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.Oh, give thanks to the Lord! Call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the peoples!
