But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the fruit you get leads to sanctification and its end, eternal life.But now that you have been freed from sin and enslaved to God, the advantage you get is sanctification. The end is eternal life.
Because your steadfast love is better than life, my lips will praise you. Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.Blessed is anyone who endures temptation. Such a one has stood the test and will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.
