Now if you are unwilling to serve the Lord, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served in the region beyond the River or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living; but as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.If it seems evil to you to serve Yahweh, choose today whom you will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell; but as for me and my house, we will serve Yahweh.
I establish my covenant with you, that never again shall all flesh be cut off by the waters of a flood, and never again shall there be a flood to destroy the earth.I will establish my covenant with you: All flesh will not be cut off any more by the waters of the flood. As servants of God, live as free people, yet do not use your freedom as a pretext for evil.Live as free people, yet not using your freedom for a cloak of wickedness, but as bondservants of God.
