| For I long to see you so that I may impart some spiritual gift to you, that you may be established; that is, that I may be encouraged together with you while among you, each of us by the other’s faith, both yours and mine. | For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established; That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me. |
| And in the same way He took the cup after they had eaten, saying, “This cup, which is poured out for you, is the new covenant in My blood.” | Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you. |

| For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, And abundant in mercy to all who call upon You. | For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee. |
| And faithfulness is Yours, Lord, For You reward a person according to his work. | Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work. |
| For You are my rock and my fortress; For the sake of Your name You will lead me and guide me. | For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me. |
| Abba! Father! All things are possible for You; remove this cup from Me; yet not what I will, but what You will. | Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt. |
| You shall not make other gods besides Me; gods of silver or gods of gold, you shall not make for yourselves. | Ye shall not make with me gods of silver, neither shall ye make unto you gods of gold. |
| For You light my lamp; The Lord my God illumines my darkness. | For thou wilt light my candle: the Lord my God will enlighten my darkness. |
| Because Your favor is better than life, My lips will praise You. So I will bless You as long as I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name. | Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee. Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name. |
| God, You are my God; I shall be watching for You; My soul thirsts for You, my flesh yearns for You, In a dry and exhausted land where there is no water. | O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is. |
| Indeed, while following the way of Your judgments, Lord, We have waited for You eagerly; Your name, and remembering You, is the desire of our souls. | Yea, in the way of thy judgments, O Lord, have we waited for thee; the desire of our soul is to thy name, and to the remembrance of thee. |
| For you have been called for this purpose, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you would follow in His steps. | For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps. |
| Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. | Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. |
| But as for you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, Too little to be among the clans of Judah, From you One will come forth for Me to be ruler in Israel. His times of coming forth are from long ago, From the days of eternity. | But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting. |
| For sin shall not be master over you, for you are not under the Law but under grace. | For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. |
| And when He had taken some bread and given thanks, He broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body, which is being given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” | And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me. |
| Oh, Lord God! Behold, You Yourself have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and by Your outstretched arm! Nothing is too difficult for You. | Ah Lord God! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee. |
| Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus. | Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. |
| I love the Lord, because He hears My voice and my pleas. Because He has inclined His ear to me, Therefore I will call upon Him as long as I live. | I love the Lord, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications. Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live. |
| Nevertheless, in Your great compassion You did not make an end of them or abandon them, For You are a gracious and compassionate God. | Nevertheless for thy great mercies' sake thou didst not utterly consume them, nor forsake them; for thou art a gracious and merciful God. |
| And may the Lord cause you to increase and overflow in love for one another, and for all people, just as we also do for you. | And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you. |
| For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord; walk as children of light. | For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light. |
| For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what was promised. | For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. |
| ‘For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for prosperity and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.’ | For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. |
| Since you are precious in My sight, Since you are honored and I love you, I will give other people in your place and other nations in exchange for your life. | Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life. |
