And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. |
| So having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is now proclaiming to mankind that all people everywhere are to repent. | Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent. |
