Lord (3/4)

Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain: for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain. You must not misuse the name of the Lord your God. The Lord will not let you go unpunished if you misuse his name.
And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, along with everyone in your household.”
But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil. But the Lord is faithful; he will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one.
But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image.
Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work.Unfailing love, O Lord, is yours. Surely you repay all people according to what they have done.
Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.Unless the Lord builds a house, the work of the builders is wasted. Unless the Lord protects a city, guarding it with sentries will do no good.
For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light. For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light!
Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth. Our help is from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.
Deliver my soul, O Lord, from lying lips, and from a deceitful tongue.Rescue me, O Lord, from liars and from all deceitful people.
Arise, O Lord; O God, lift up thine hand: forget not the humble.Arise, O Lord! Punish the wicked, O God! Do not ignore the helpless!
For who is God save the Lord? or who is a rock save our God?For who is God except the Lord? Who but our God is a solid rock?
He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. He who is the faithful witness to all these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon!” Amen! Come, Lord Jesus!
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless.
Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.Work at living in peace with everyone, and work at living a holy life, for those who are not holy will not see the Lord.
And the Lord turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before. When Job prayed for his friends, the Lord restored his fortunes. In fact, the Lord gave him twice as much as before!
Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.Indeed, the Sovereign Lord never does anything until he reveals his plans to his servants the prophets.
Blessed is every one that feareth the Lord; that walketh in his ways. How joyful are those who fear the Lord— all who follow his ways!
For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.O Lord, you are so good, so ready to forgive, so full of unfailing love for all who ask for your help.
Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.Let your unfailing love surround us, Lord, for our hope is in you alone.
I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.I am counting on the Lord; yes, I am counting on him. I have put my hope in his word.
The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?The Lord is for me, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me?
Seek the Lord and his strength, seek his face continually.Search for the Lord and for his strength; continually seek him.
Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us.
When I said, My foot slippeth; thy mercy, O Lord, held me up.I cried out, “I am slipping!” but your unfailing love, O Lord, supported me.
If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet. And since I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you ought to wash each other’s feet.

For who is God, save the Lord? and who is a rock, save our God?For who is God except the Lord? Who but our God is a solid rock?

Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil:
