- So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself.

- But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
- Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
- In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
- Let Your mercy, O Lord, be upon us,
Just as we hope in You. - But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness.
- Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.
- He who covers a transgression seeks love,
But he who repeats a matter separates friends. - If I say, “My foot slips,”
Your mercy, O Lord, will hold me up. - By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
- The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.
- Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
- For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love.
