Mans (2/4)

I understand that man’s greatest happiness is to be glad and do well throughout his life. And when we eat and drink and find satisfaction in all our labors, this is a gift of God.I know that nothing is better for them than to rejoice, and to do good in their lives, and also that every man should eat and drink and enjoy the good of all his labor—it is the gift of God.
He brought you low, allowing you to suffer from hunger. He then fed you with manna, something with which your fathers were not familiar, so that you might come to know that man does not live by bread alone, but man lives by every word that comes forth from the mouth of the Lord.So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord.
However, the gift is not like the transgression. For if the transgression of one man led to the death of the many, how much greater was the overflowing effect of the grace of God and the gift of the one man Jesus Christ that has abounded for the many. But the free gift is not like the offense. For if by the one man’s offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many.
In the same way, the Son of Man did not come to be served but rather to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many.Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.
A patient man shows good sense, but a quick-tempered man displays the height of folly. He who is slow to wrath has great understanding, But he who is impulsive exalts folly.
But the one who did not know those wishes, and who acted in such a manner as to deserve a beating, will be beaten less severely. Much will be demanded of a person to whom much has been given, and even more will be asked of a person to whom more has been entrusted. But he who did not know, yet committed things deserving of stripes, shall be beaten with few. For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more.
The Lord, your God, will bless you as he promised you. You will lend to many nations, but borrow from none. You shall rule over many nations, but none shall rule over you.For the Lord your God will bless you just as He promised you; you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow; you shall reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over you.
The wicked man borrows but neglects to repay, whereas the righteous man is generous in giving. The wicked borrows and does not repay, But the righteous shows mercy and gives.
All day long the godless man continues to covet, whereas the righteous man gives unsparingly. He covets greedily all day long, But the righteous gives and does not spare.
For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and man, Christ Jesus, himself a man.For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus.
A wealthy man pays a ransom to save his life; a poor man never has to worry about such threats. The ransom of a man’s life is his riches, But the poor does not hear rebuke.
For just as in one body we have many parts, and the parts do not all have the same function, so we, though many, make up one body in Christ, and individually we are all parts of one another. For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.
And I heard a loud voice proclaim from the throne: “Behold, God’s dwelling is with mankind; he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and he will be their God, God-with-them. He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will no longer be death. Neither will there be any mourning or crying or pain, for the old order has passed away.”And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”
Many are the plans in a human mind, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will prevail. There are many plans in a man’s heart, Nevertheless the Lord’s counsel—that will stand.
Plans miscarry when counsel is lacking, but they succeed when there are many counselors.Without counsel, plans go awry, But in the multitude of counselors they are established.
Many shall be purified, cleansed, and refined, but the wicked will persist in their evil ways. Many shall be purified, made white, and refined, but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand.
Where many words are spoken, sin is not absent, but whoever restrains his tongue is prudent. In the multitude of words sin is not lacking, But he who restrains his lips is wise.
For since death came into the world through a man, the resurrection of the dead has also come through a man.For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead.
The Lord God then formed a woman out of the rib that he had taken from the man. He brought her before the man. The man said, “This one is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh. She shall be called woman because she was taken from man.” This is why a man leaves his father and his mother and joins with a wife, and the two become one flesh. Then the rib which the Lord God had taken from man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man. And Adam said: “This is now bone of my bones And flesh of my flesh; She shall be called Woman, Because she was taken out of Man.” Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.
Or can a man walk on red-hot coals without scorching his feet? Can one walk on hot coals, And his feet not be seared?
For the Son of Man has come to seek out and to save what was lost. For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.
A man may plan his own course, but the Lord makes his steps secure.A man’s heart plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps.
As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the wits of his neighbor. As iron sharpens iron, So a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.
I will, thereby, display my greatness and my holiness and make myself known to many nations. Then they will know that I am the Lord. Thus I will magnify Myself and sanctify Myself, and I will be known in the eyes of many nations. Then they shall know that I am the Lord.
He will never be swayed; the righteous man will be remembered forever.Surely he will never be shaken; The righteous will be in everlasting remembrance.

In my Father’s house there are many dwelling places. If there were not, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you?In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

Bible verse of the day

He gives a home to those who are forsaken
and leads out prisoners amid chants of exultation,
while rebels are forced to live in an arid land.
