Mans (2/4)

I understand that man’s greatest happiness is to be glad and do well throughout his life. And when we eat and drink and find satisfaction in all our labors, this is a gift of God.I know that there is nothing better for them than to be happy and enjoy themselves as long as they live; moreover, it is God's gift that all should eat and drink and take pleasure in all their toil.
He brought you low, allowing you to suffer from hunger. He then fed you with manna, something with which your fathers were not familiar, so that you might come to know that man does not live by bread alone, but man lives by every word that comes forth from the mouth of the Lord.He humbled you by letting you hunger, then by feeding you with manna, with which neither you nor your ancestors were acquainted, in order to make you understand that one does not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord.
However, the gift is not like the transgression. For if the transgression of one man led to the death of the many, how much greater was the overflowing effect of the grace of God and the gift of the one man Jesus Christ that has abounded for the many. But the free gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died through the one man's trespass, much more surely have the grace of God and the free gift in the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, abounded for the many.
In the same way, the Son of Man did not come to be served but rather to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many.Just as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life a ransom for many.
A patient man shows good sense, but a quick-tempered man displays the height of folly.Whoever is slow to anger has great understanding, but one who has a hasty temper exalts folly.
But the one who did not know those wishes, and who acted in such a manner as to deserve a beating, will be beaten less severely. Much will be demanded of a person to whom much has been given, and even more will be asked of a person to whom more has been entrusted. But the one who did not know and did what deserved a beating will receive a light beating. From everyone to whom much has been given, much will be required; and from the one to whom much has been entrusted, even more will be demanded.
The Lord, your God, will bless you as he promised you. You will lend to many nations, but borrow from none. You shall rule over many nations, but none shall rule over you. When the Lord your God has blessed you, as he promised you, you will lend to many nations, but you will not borrow; you will rule over many nations, but they will not rule over you.
The wicked man borrows but neglects to repay, whereas the righteous man is generous in giving. The wicked borrow, and do not pay back, but the righteous are generous and keep giving.
All day long the godless man continues to covet, whereas the righteous man gives unsparingly. All day long the wicked covet, but the righteous give and do not hold back.
For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and man, Christ Jesus, himself a man.For there is one God; there is also one mediator between God and humankind, Christ Jesus, himself human.
A wealthy man pays a ransom to save his life; a poor man never has to worry about such threats.Wealth is a ransom for a person's life, but the poor get no threats.
For just as in one body we have many parts, and the parts do not all have the same function, so we, though many, make up one body in Christ, and individually we are all parts of one another. For as in one body we have many members, and not all the members have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually we are members one of another.
And I heard a loud voice proclaim from the throne: “Behold, God’s dwelling is with mankind; he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and he will be their God, God-with-them. He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will no longer be death. Neither will there be any mourning or crying or pain, for the old order has passed away.”And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “See, the home of God is among mortals. He will dwell with them as their God; they will be his peoples, and God himself will be with them; he will wipe every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; mourning and crying and pain will be no more, for the first things have passed away.”
Many are the plans in a human mind, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will prevail. The human mind may devise many plans, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will be established.
Plans miscarry when counsel is lacking, but they succeed when there are many counselors.Without counsel, plans go wrong, but with many advisers they succeed.
Many shall be purified, cleansed, and refined, but the wicked will persist in their evil ways. Many shall be purified, cleansed, and refined, but the wicked shall continue to act wickedly. None of the wicked shall understand, but those who are wise shall understand.
Where many words are spoken, sin is not absent, but whoever restrains his tongue is prudent. When words are many, transgression is not lacking, but the prudent are restrained in speech.
For since death came into the world through a man, the resurrection of the dead has also come through a man.For since death came through a human being, the resurrection of the dead has also come through a human being.
The Lord God then formed a woman out of the rib that he had taken from the man. He brought her before the man. The man said, “This one is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh. She shall be called woman because she was taken from man.” This is why a man leaves his father and his mother and joins with a wife, and the two become one flesh. And the rib that the Lord God had taken from the man he made into a woman and brought her to the man. Then the man said, “This at last is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; this one shall be called Woman, for out of Man this one was taken.” Therefore a man leaves his father and his mother and clings to his wife, and they become one flesh.
Or can a man walk on red-hot coals without scorching his feet?Or can one walk on hot coals without scorching the feet?
For the Son of Man has come to seek out and to save what was lost. For the Son of Man came to seek out and to save the lost.
A man may plan his own course, but the Lord makes his steps secure. The human mind plans the way, but the Lord directs the steps.
As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the wits of his neighbor.Iron sharpens iron, and one person sharpens the wits of another.
I will, thereby, display my greatness and my holiness and make myself known to many nations. Then they will know that I am the Lord.So I will display my greatness and my holiness and make myself known in the eyes of many nations. Then they shall know that I am the Lord.
He will never be swayed; the righteous man will be remembered forever. For the righteous will never be moved; they will be remembered forever.

In my Father’s house there are many dwelling places. If there were not, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you?In my Father's house there are many dwelling places. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?

and leads out prisoners amid chants of exultation,
while rebels are forced to live in an arid land.
