For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his life? Or what will a man give in exchange for his life? For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
I, even I, am he who comforts you. Who are you, that you are afraid of man who shall die, and of the son of man who will be made as grass?I, even I, am he that comforteth you: who art thou, that thou shouldest be afraid of a man that shall die, and of the son of man which shall be made as grass.

Yahweh is on my side. I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?

It is better to take refuge in Yahweh, than to put confidence in man.It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.
A perverse man stirs up strife. A whisperer separates close friends.A froward man soweth strife: and a whisperer separateth chief friends.
God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should repent. Has he said, and he won’t do it? Or has he spoken, and he won’t make it good?God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word.Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.
For you are all children of God, through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
Beloved, don’t believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
For who among men knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so, no one knows the things of God except God’s Spirit. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
I will magnify myself and sanctify myself, and I will make myself known in the eyes of many nations. Then they will know that I am Yahweh. Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the Lord.
For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his life? For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

But those who are determined to be rich fall into a temptation, a snare, and many foolish and harmful lusts, such as drown men in ruin and destruction. But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.

Better is a little that the righteous has, than the abundance of many wicked. For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, but Yahweh upholds the righteous.A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked.
