And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body, and be thankful.And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.
For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are dying, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world.Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
Oh the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and the knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past tracing out!Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways!

One who believes in the Son has eternal life, but one who disobeys the Son won’t see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.
But now, being made free from sin and having become servants of God, you have your fruit of sanctification and the result of eternal life.But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the fruit you get leads to sanctification and its end, eternal life.
For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God; being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.
Always rejoice. Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you.Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? For if I were still pleasing men, I wouldn’t be a servant of Christ.For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ.
You adulterers and adulteresses, don’t you know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.You adulterous people! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life.
For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. For I am not ashamed of the Good News of Christ, because it is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first, and also for the Greek.For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
Having therefore these promises, beloved, let’s cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.Since we have these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from every defilement of body and spirit, bringing holiness to completion in the fear of God.

He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. To this end the Son of God was revealed: that he might destroy the works of the devil.Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil.
