Therefore, whatever you desire for men to do to you, you shall also do to them; for this is the law and the prophets.In everything, deal with others as you would like them to deal with you. This is the Law and the Prophets.
Enter in by the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter in by it. How narrow is the gate and the way is restricted that leads to life! There are few who find it.Enter through the narrow gate, for the gate is wide and the road broad that leads to destruction, and those who enter through it are many. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and those who find it are few in number.
Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves.Be on guard against false prophets who come to you disguised in sheep’s clothing, but who inwardly are ravenous wolves.
Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my heavenly Father.
Everyone therefore who hears these words of mine and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on a rock.Everyone who hears these words of mine and acts in accordance with them will be like a wise man who constructed his house on a rock foundation.
When Jesus heard it, he said to them, “Those who are healthy have no need for a physician, but those who are sick do.”When Jesus heard this, he said, “It is not the healthy who need a physician, but rather those who are sick.”
But you go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, and not sacrifice,’ for I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.Go and learn what this text means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ I have come to call not the righteous but sinners.
Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, and cast out demons. Freely you received, so freely give.Cure the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. You received without payment; give in the same way.
Don’t be afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. Rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna.Have no fear of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, fear the one who can destroy both soul and body in Gehenna.
Aren’t two sparrows sold for an assarion coin? Not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Therefore don’t be afraid. You are of more value than many sparrows.Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them can fall to the ground without your Father’s knowledge. Even the hairs on your head have all been counted. So do not be afraid; you are worth far more than any number of sparrows.
Don’t think that I came to send peace on the earth. I didn’t come to send peace, but a sword.Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace but a sword.
He who doesn’t take his cross and follow after me isn’t worthy of me.And anyone who does not take up his cross and follow me is not worthy of me.
He who seeks his life will lose it; and he who loses his life for my sake will find it.Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.
Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest.Come to me, all you who are weary and overburdened, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
Of how much more value then is a man than a sheep! Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath day.How much more valuable a man is than a sheep! Therefore, it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.
Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men.Therefore, I tell you that every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.
Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age, or in that which is to come.Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.
I tell you that every idle word that men speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment.I tell you that on the day of judgment people will have to render an account for every careless word they utter.
What was sown among the thorns, this is he who hears the word, but the cares of this age and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful.The seed sown among thorns is the one who hears the word, but worldly cares and the lure of riches choke the word and it bears no fruit.
He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”“But you,” he said to them, “who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter replied, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
I also tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my assembly, and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it.And I say to you: You are Peter, and on this rock I will build my Church, and the gates of the netherworld will not prevail against it.
I will give to you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven; and whatever you release on earth will have been released in heaven.I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, and whoever will lose his life for my sake will find it.For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.
For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his life? Or what will a man give in exchange for his life?What will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his very life? Or what can he give in exchange for his life?

While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them. Behold, a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Listen to him.”While he was still speaking, suddenly a bright cloud cast a shadow over them. Then a voice from the cloud said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased. Listen to him.”
