Matthew 24:24 (3/5)

Give us today our daily bread.Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.
For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.
Moreover when you fast, don’t be like the hypocrites, with sad faces. For they disfigure their faces that they may be seen by men to be fasting. Most certainly I tell you, they have received their reward. When you fast, do not look somber as the hypocrites do, for they disfigure their faces to show others they are fasting. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full.
But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, so that you are not seen by men to be fasting, but by your Father who is in secret; and your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you.But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face, so that it will not be obvious to others that you are fasting, but only to your Father, who is unseen; and your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
Don’t lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consume, and where thieves don’t break through and steal.Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You can’t serve both God and Mammon. No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.
Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?
See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?
But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Don’t judge, so that you won’t be judged.Do not judge, or you too will be judged.
Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but don’t consider the beam that is in your own eye?Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?
Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you.Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.
Therefore, whatever you desire for men to do to you, you shall also do to them; for this is the law and the prophets. So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.
Enter in by the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter in by it. How narrow is the gate and the way is restricted that leads to life! There are few who find it.Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves.Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.
Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
Everyone therefore who hears these words of mine and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on a rock. Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.
When Jesus heard it, he said to them, “Those who are healthy have no need for a physician, but those who are sick do.”On hearing this, Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick.”
But you go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, and not sacrifice,’ for I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.
Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, and cast out demons. Freely you received, so freely give.Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give.

Don’t be afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. Rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna.Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.
