God blesses those whose hearts are pure, for they will see God. | Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. |

And forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who sin against us. | Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors. |
Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be. | For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. |
A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ | A second likewise is this, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ |

God blesses those who are poor and realize their need for him, for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs. | Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven. |
But many who are the greatest now will be least important then, and those who seem least important now will be the greatest then. | But many will be last who are first, and first who are last. |
You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. | You are the light of the world. A city located on a hill can’t be hidden. |
And don’t let us yield to temptation, but rescue us from the evil one. | Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen. |
If you refuse to take up your cross and follow me, you are not worthy of being mine. | He who doesn’t take his cross and follow after me isn’t worthy of me. |
For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them. | For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them. |
