If I say, “My foot slips,” Your mercy, O Lord, will hold me up. | When I realized that my foot was slipping, your kindness, O Lord, raised me up. |

I was sought by those who did not ask for Me; I was found by those who did not seek Me. I said, ‘Here I am, here I am,’ To a nation that was not called by My name. | I was eager to respond to those who did not consult me. I was anxious to be approached by those who did not seek me. I said, “Here I am! Here I am!” to a nation that did not summon me. |
For whoever finds me finds life, And obtains favor from the Lord. | For whoever finds me finds life and receives favor from the Lord. |
Teach me Your way, O Lord; I will walk in Your truth; Unite my heart to fear Your name. | Teach me your ways, O Lord, so that I may walk in your truth; let me worship your name with an undivided heart. |
Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. | Do not let your hearts be troubled. You place your trust in God. Trust also in me. |
