Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.”Jesus told them, “This is the only work God wants from you: Believe in the one he has sent.”
For I know that through your prayers and God’s provision of the Spirit of Jesus Christ what has happened to me will turn out for my deliverance.For I know that as you pray for me and the Spirit of Jesus Christ helps me, this will lead to my deliverance.
In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.Yes, and everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.

In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by his great mercy that we have been born again, because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Now we live with great expectation.
If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God.All who declare that Jesus is the Son of God have God living in them, and they live in God.
Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?” Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.”Then Peter came to him and asked, “Lord, how often should I forgive someone who sins against me? Seven times?” “No, not seven times,” Jesus replied, “but seventy times seven!”
They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.”They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, along with everyone in your household.”

Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”Jesus responded, “Didn’t I tell you that you would see God’s glory if you believe?”
