My joy (3/4)

You shall keep my Sabbaths and reverence my sanctuary: I am the Lord. You must keep my Sabbath days of rest and show reverence for my sanctuary. I am the Lord.
I cried to him with my mouth, and high praise was on my tongue. For I cried out to him for help, praising him as I spoke.
If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love. When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father’s commandments and remain in his love.
I acknowledged my sin to you, and I did not cover my iniquity; I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,” and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. SelahFinally, I confessed all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide my guilt. I said to myself, “I will confess my rebellion to the Lord.” And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone.
The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? The Lord is my light and my salvation— so why should I be afraid? The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble?
For when I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long. When I refused to confess my sin, my body wasted away, and I groaned all day long.
Behold, God is my helper; the Lord is the upholder of my life. But God is my helper. The Lord keeps me alive!
And behold, a voice from heaven said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.”And a voice from heaven said, “This is my dearly loved Son, who brings me great joy.”
But you, O Lord, are a shield about me, my glory, and the lifter of my head. But you, O Lord, are a shield around me; you are my glory, the one who holds my head high.
“The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in him.”I say to myself, “The Lord is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him!”
Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation and my God.Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again— my Savior and my God!
By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples. When you produce much fruit, you are my true disciples. This brings great glory to my Father.
For you are my rock and my fortress; and for your name's sake you lead me and guide me.You are my rock and my fortress. For the honor of your name, lead me out of this danger.
My times are in your hand; rescue me from the hand of my enemies and from my persecutors! My future is in your hands. Rescue me from those who hunt me down relentlessly.
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord.“My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine.”
I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.I look up to the mountains— does my help come from there? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth!
Hear, my son, and accept my words, that the years of your life may be many.My child, listen to me and do as I say, and you will have a long, good life.
If you love me, you will keep my commandments. If you love me, obey my commandments.
I stretch out my hands to you; my soul thirsts for you like a parched land. SelahI lift my hands to you in prayer. I thirst for you as parched land thirsts for rain.
God, the Lord, is my strength; he makes my feet like the deer's; he makes me tread on my high places. The Sovereign Lord is my strength! He makes me as surefooted as a deer, able to tread upon the heights.
But as for me, I will look to the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation; my God will hear me.As for me, I look to the Lord for help. I wait confidently for God to save me, and my God will certainly hear me.
O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you; my flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water.O God, you are my God; I earnestly search for you. My soul thirsts for you; my whole body longs for you in this parched and weary land where there is no water.
Because your steadfast love is better than life, my lips will praise you. So I will bless you as long as I live; in your name I will lift up my hands.Your unfailing love is better than life itself; how I praise you! I will praise you as long as I live, lifting up my hands to you in prayer.
My son, do not forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments, for length of days and years of life and peace they will add to you.My child, never forget the things I have taught you. Store my commands in your heart. If you do this, you will live many years, and your life will be satisfying.
My son, be attentive to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Let them not escape from your sight; keep them within your heart. My child, pay attention to what I say. Listen carefully to my words. Don’t lose sight of them. Let them penetrate deep into your heart.

Hear my prayer, O Lord; give ear to my pleas for mercy! In your faithfulness answer me, in your righteousness!Hear my prayer, O Lord; listen to my plea! Answer me because you are faithful and righteous.

But in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect.

Random Bible Verse

Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord,
whose trust is the Lord.
He is like a tree planted by water,
that sends out its roots by the stream,
and does not fear when heat comes,
for its leaves remain green,
and is not anxious in the year of drought,
for it does not cease to bear fruit.
