My joy (4/4)

I spread out my hands to you; I thirst for you like a parched land.I lift my hands to you in prayer. I thirst for you as parched land thirsts for rain.
Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”“Don’t cling to me,” Jesus said, “for I haven’t yet ascended to the Father. But go find my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”
But I will sing of your strength, in the morning I will sing of your love; for you are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble. But as for me, I will sing about your power. Each morning I will sing with joy about your unfailing love. For you have been my refuge, a place of safety when I am in distress.
You, God, are my God, earnestly I seek you; I thirst for you, my whole being longs for you, in a dry and parched land where there is no water.O God, you are my God; I earnestly search for you. My soul thirsts for you; my whole body longs for you in this parched and weary land where there is no water.
The Sovereign Lord is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to tread on the heights. The Sovereign Lord is my strength! He makes me as surefooted as a deer, able to tread upon the heights.
I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, and in his word I put my hope.I am counting on the Lord; yes, I am counting on him. I have put my hope in his word.
Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him.
I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord; apart from you I have no good thing.”I said to the Lord, “You are my Master! Every good thing I have comes from you.”
My son, pay attention to what I say; turn your ear to my words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart. My child, pay attention to what I say. Listen carefully to my words. Don’t lose sight of them. Let them penetrate deep into your heart.
Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.
I will sing to the Lord all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live.I will sing to the Lord as long as I live. I will praise my God to my last breath!
In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.Listen to my voice in the morning, Lord. Each morning I bring my requests to you and wait expectantly.
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again—rejoice!
Out of the depths I cry to you, Lord; Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to my cry for mercy. From the depths of despair, O Lord, I call for your help. Hear my cry, O Lord. Pay attention to my prayer.
When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.But when I am afraid, I will put my trust in you.
As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.
I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint. For I have given rest to the weary and joy to the sorrowing.

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.
