These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.

Though the fig tree may not blossom, Nor fruit be on the vines; Though the labor of the olive may fail, And the fields yield no food; Though the flock may be cut off from the fold, And there be no herd in the stalls— Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation.Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior.

In the multitude of my anxieties within me, Your comforts delight my soul.When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy.
