Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation.For God alone my soul waits in silence; from him comes my salvation.

When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.While I kept silence, my body wasted away through my groaning all day long.

The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.“The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in him.”

Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit and become my disciples.
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.For my thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways my ways, says the Lord.
If ye love me, keep my commandments.If you love me, you will keep my commandments.
For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me.You are indeed my rock and my fortress; for your name's sake lead me and guide me.
O my soul, thou hast said unto the Lord, Thou art my Lord: my goodness extendeth not to thee.I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord; I have no good apart from you.”
In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul.When the cares of my heart are many, your consolations cheer my soul.
Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my help and my God.
Hear, O my son, and receive my sayings; and the years of thy life shall be many.Hear, my child, and accept my words, that the years of your life may be many.
I stretch forth my hands unto thee: my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah.I stretch out my hands to you; my soul thirsts for you like a parched land. Selah
Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul.But surely, God is my helper; the Lord is the upholder of my life.
Therefore I will look unto the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.But as for me, I will look to the Lord, I will wait for the God of my salvation; my God will hear me.

But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.But you, O Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, and the one who lifts up my head.
