My pleasure (2/4)

Hear my prayer, O Lord; do not be deaf to my cry or ignore my weeping. For I am a wayfarer before you, a nomad like all my ancestors.Hear my prayer, Yahweh, and give ear to my cry. Don’t be silent at my tears. For I am a stranger with you, a foreigner, as all my fathers were.
In my anguish I cried out to the Lord and called to my God for help. From his temple he heard my voice, and my cry to him reached his ears.In my distress I called on Yahweh, and cried to my God. He heard my voice out of his temple. My cry before him came into his ears.
If you would seriously consider my reproof, I would pour out my thoughts to you and make my precepts known to you.Turn at my reproof. Behold, I will pour out my spirit on you. I will make known my words to you.
In God alone is my soul at rest; it is from him that my salvation comes. My soul rests in God alone. My salvation is from him.
In God alone be at rest, O my soul; it is from him that my hope comes. My soul, wait in silence for God alone, for my expectation is from him.
Whoever feeds upon my flesh and drinks my blood dwells in me and I dwell in him.He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood lives in me, and I in him.
Observe my Sabbaths and stand in awe before my sanctuary. I am the Lord. You shall keep my Sabbaths, and have reverence for my sanctuary. I am Yahweh.
O Lord, all my longing is known to you, and my sighs are not hidden from you.Lord, all my desire is before you. My groaning is not hidden from you.
If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and remain in his love.If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love, even as I have kept my Father’s commandments and remain in his love.
I lifted up my voice in prayer to him; his praise was on my tongue.I cried to him with my mouth. He was extolled with my tongue.
The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom should I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom should I be afraid?Yahweh is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? Yahweh is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid?
Then I acknowledged my sin to you, and I made no attempt to conceal my guilt. I said, “I will confess my offenses to the Lord,” and you removed the guilt of my sin. SelahI acknowledged my sin to you. I didn’t hide my iniquity. I said, I will confess my transgressions to Yahweh, and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah.
As long as I remained silent, my body wasted away as the result of my groaning throughout the day. When I kept silence, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long.
But as for me, I will look to the Lord. I place my hope in God my savior; my God will hear me.But as for me, I will look to Yahweh. I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me.
By this is my Father glorified, that you bear much fruit and become my disciples. In this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; and so you will be my disciples.
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways my ways, says the Lord.“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not my ways,” says Yahweh.
You are truly my rock and my fortress; for the sake of your name, lead and guide me.For you are my rock and my fortress, therefore for your name’s sake lead me and guide me.
The Lord is my portion, I say to myself; therefore, I will place my hope in him.“Yahweh is my portion,” says my soul. “Therefore I will hope in him.”
Why are you so disheartened, O my soul? Why do you sigh within me? Place your hope in God; for I will once again praise him, my Savior and my God.Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him, the saving help of my countenance, and my God.
When my anxious thoughts multiplied, your comfort filled my soul with joy.In the multitude of my thoughts within me, your comforts delight my soul.
But you, O Lord, are a shield to protect me; you are my glory and the one who raises my head high. But you, Yahweh, are a shield around me, my glory, and the one who lifts up my head.
If you love me, you will keep my commandments. If you love me, keep my commandments.
Your statutes are my everlasting heritage; they are the very joy of my heart.I have taken your testimonies as a heritage forever, for they are the joy of my heart.
I stretch out my hands to you; my soul thirsts for you like a parched land. SelahI spread out my hands to you. My soul thirsts for you, like a parched land. Selah.
Listen, my son, and take my words to heart, and the years of your life will be multiplied.Listen, my son, and receive my sayings. The years of your life will be many.

Surely God is my helper; the Lord is the one who sustains me.Behold, God is my helper. The Lord is the one who sustains my soul.
