My pleasure (2/4)

I delight to do your will, O my God; your law is within my heart.I take joy in doing your will, my God, for your instructions are written on my heart.
Hear my prayer, O Lord, and give ear to my cry; do not hold your peace at my tears. For I am your passing guest, an alien, like all my forebears.Hear my prayer, O Lord! Listen to my cries for help! Don’t ignore my tears. For I am your guest— a traveler passing through, as my ancestors were before me.
For God alone my soul waits in silence; from him comes my salvation.I wait quietly before God, for my victory comes from him.
For God alone my soul waits in silence, for my hope is from him.Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in him.
I will put my spirit within you, and make you follow my statutes and be careful to observe my ordinances. And I will put my Spirit in you so that you will follow my decrees and be careful to obey my regulations.
Those who eat my flesh and drink my blood abide in me, and I in them.Anyone who eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in him.
You shall keep my sabbaths and reverence my sanctuary: I am the Lord. You must keep my Sabbath days of rest and show reverence for my sanctuary. I am the Lord.
O Lord, all my longing is known to you; my sighing is not hidden from you.You know what I long for, Lord; you hear my every sigh.
While I kept silence, my body wasted away through my groaning all day long. When I refused to confess my sin, my body wasted away, and I groaned all day long.
If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love. When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father’s commandments and remain in his love.
Then I acknowledged my sin to you, and I did not hide my iniquity; I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,” and you forgave the guilt of my sin. SelahFinally, I confessed all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide my guilt. I said to myself, “I will confess my rebellion to the Lord.” And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone.
The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? The Lord is my light and my salvation— so why should I be afraid? The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble?
But surely, God is my helper; the Lord is the upholder of my life. But God is my helper. The Lord keeps me alive!
“The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in him.”I say to myself, “The Lord is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him!”
My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit and become my disciples. When you produce much fruit, you are my true disciples. This brings great glory to my Father.
Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my help and my God.Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again— my Savior and my God!
But you, O Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, and the one who lifts up my head. But you, O Lord, are a shield around me; you are my glory, the one who holds my head high.
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways my ways, says the Lord.“My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine.”
You are indeed my rock and my fortress; for your name's sake lead me and guide me.You are my rock and my fortress. For the honor of your name, lead me out of this danger.
When the cares of my heart are many, your consolations cheer my soul. When doubts filled my mind, your comfort gave me renewed hope and cheer.
I lift up my eyes to the hills— from where will my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.I look up to the mountains— does my help come from there? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth!
Your decrees are my heritage forever; they are the joy of my heart.Your laws are my treasure; they are my heart’s delight.
Hear, my child, and accept my words, that the years of your life may be many.My child, listen to me and do as I say, and you will have a long, good life.
I cried aloud to him, and he was extolled with my tongue. For I cried out to him for help, praising him as I spoke.
If you love me, you will keep my commandments. If you love me, obey my commandments.

I stretch out my hands to you; my soul thirsts for you like a parched land. SelahI lift my hands to you in prayer. I thirst for you as parched land thirsts for rain.
