Name of Jesus (4/4)

  • Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
  • Jesus said to him, “Go your way. Your faith has made you well.” Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the way.
  • For you are my rock and my fortress,
therefore for your name’s sake lead me and guide me.
  • To which he called you through our Good News, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
  • Jesus answered, “Most certainly I tell you, unless one is born of water and Spirit, he can’t enter into God’s Kingdom.”
  • God is faithful, through whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
  • Jesus therefore answered them, “My teaching is not mine, but his who sent me.”
  • That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him.
  • You therefore, my child, be strengthened in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
  • You didn’t choose me, but I chose you and appointed you, that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain; that whatever you will ask of the Father in my name, he may give it to you.
  • Pray like this:
‘Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy.
    Let your Kingdom come.
Let your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.’
  • Now the God of perseverance and of encouragement grant you to be of the same mind with one another according to Christ Jesus.
  • Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”
  • But if the Spirit of him who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised up Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.
  • Yahweh, you are my God. I will exalt you! I will praise your name, for you have done wonderful things, things planned long ago, in complete faithfulness and truth.
  • Jesus said to her, “Didn’t I tell you that if you believed, you would see God’s glory?”
  • But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.
  • Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.
  • Now on the last and greatest day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink!”
  • But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
  • But Jesus said, “Allow the little children, and don’t forbid them to come to me; for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these.”
  • They said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”
  • For you are all children of God, through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
  • For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.
  • Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will not be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”

Bible verse of the day

In praying, don’t use vain repetitions as the Gentiles do; for they think that they will be heard for their much speaking.
