| You may say in your heart, “How shall we know the word which Yahweh has not spoken?” When a prophet speaks in Yahweh’s name, if the thing doesn’t follow, nor happen, that is the thing which Yahweh has not spoken. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously. You shall not be afraid of him. | And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the Lord hath not spoken? | It is because of Yahweh’s loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his mercies don’t fail. They are new every morning. | Blessed is the man who trusts in Yahweh, and whose confidence is in Yahweh. It won’t cease from yielding fruit. | Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. | Don’t forsake your friend and your father’s friend. Don’t go to your brother’s house in the day of your disaster.
